So who is Dalhanahue?
So for starters, some of you may be asking "What the heck is a Dalhanahue?" That is a screen name I use on most public forum sites. Does it have any special meaning? Nope. Not really. It's just something that came to me and I thought sounded rather pretty. I also go by Dal for short for those who know me through such sites.
Now, on to a little bit about me. I'm a 30 year old stay at home mother/homemaker. I have a beautiful little girl and my husband is my best friend and soul mate.
Most of my days are spent tending to our little one and things around the home. Although, when I find I have some free time I enjoy various activities such as photography, writing, reading, playing a few video games, and poking around on a couple avatar forums sites which are my guilty pleasure.
I'm a huge nature freak. Nature is at my core in spirituality and mentality. It is where I seek refuge, inspiration, and life's lessons. I am also Pagan and would classify myself as eclectic Cetlic in my practices but pay homage to mostly just the Irish deities. Though, ultimately I feel that all deities of all cultures share a same source which is the Universe itself. I am also a witch and have been practicing now for about 16 years now. I work by all sorts of means such as kitchen witchery, hearth and home, holistic healing, imagery/meditation/visualization path working, and on occasion dream working and hedge craft.
Who in the world is The Legion of Doom and Lil Tater-Tot?
The Legion of Doom is my husband and the Lil Tater-Tot is our daughter. Upon making this blog public I decided to omit real names and go with pseudonyms.

So, Why have I decided to create this blog?
Well, originally I had intended this blog to be more of an online journal of just every day life to share only with close friends. As time went by though I decided to go a little more public with it and to share a bit of my own personal path with others in the Pagan and Witch community. So it's become more of an Online Blog of Shadows if you will.
What is up with my blog title and the deer pun?
I love deer. Everything about them. They're grace and strength are alluring to me. I find them majestic, magical, and earthy.
